census of 2000, there were 143 people, 49 households, and 39 families residing in the CDP. The
population density was 31.9/km² (82.8/mi²). There were 55 housing units at an average density of 12.3/km² (31.8/mi²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 37.06%
White, 60.84%
African American, 1.40%
Native American, and 0.70% from two or more races.
There were 49 households out of which 28.6% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 51.0% were
married couples living together, 26.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 20.4% were non-families. 16.3% of all households were made up of individuals and 8.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.92 and the average family size was 3.23.
In the CDP the population was spread out with 25.9% under the age of 18, 10.5% from 18 to 24, 25.9% from 25 to 44, 21.7% from 45 to 64, and 16.1% who were 65 years of age or older.
