Taz River

The river Taz (Cyrillic: Таз) is located in western Siberia, has a length of 1401 km (871 miles) and drains a basin estimated at 150,000 km². Some areas in western Siberia are changing due to global warming as seen in pictures taken by Landsat satellites[1]. It flows into the territory of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District and borders with the Krasnoyarsk Krai. Major tributaries include the Bolshaya Shirta and Khudosey from the right, and the Tolka and Chaselka from the left.
