Totality

Totality Corporation was a publicly-traded internet services provider based out of San Francisco, from the years 1999 to 2005.

Totality was previously named "MimEcom", prior to the company going public in December of 2000.

Totality was a leading provider of application & infrastructure management (AIM) services for large-scale e-commerce sites requiring mass customization. Totality serviced Global 2000 e-businesses and fast growing Internet-centric companies.

At the core of Totality's AIM services was the Totality Service Automation Platform that speeded site deployment and provided automated 24x7 ongoing management and monitoring. Accountable for a customer's e-commerce infrastructure and 24x7 operations, Totality's unique solution was a completely outsourced alternative for business-critical e-commerce sites.

The senior management team and founders included executives from EDS, Fort Point Partners, AOL/Netscape, IBM, Oracle and Sun Microsystems. The company operated the domain name, www.totality.com.

MimEcom was possibly named after "Mimecom", a technology company mentioned in the cyberpunk TV miniseries, Wild Palms.
