Totnes (Littlehempston) railway station

Totnes (Littlehempston) railway station is situated at Totnes on the South Devon Railway, a heritage railway in Devon, England.

A loop, known as Totnes Riverside was installed to allow the Dart Valley Railway to turn trains round without running into the main Totnes railway station, but this meant that visitors to the railway arriving by train had to catch a bus from Totnes to Buckfastleigh railway station.

For a few years Dart Valley trains were extended into the main station, but this proved not to be cost effective and so a platform was built adjacent to the Riverside loop and this is now known as Totnes (Littlehempston).

Buildings for the new station came from Toller railway station on the Bridport branch.
