Villamor Airbase

Villamor Airbase is home of the Philippine Air Force. It is from this airbase that the foreign Heads of State and Government are received. It is also this military base that the Philippine president uses when departing for foreign or domestic trips abroad. It is named in honor of a Filipino pilot, Jesus Villamor, who fought during World War II.

Originally called Nichols Field during the time of American occupation, the complex also hosts the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.
