Vincent Peillon

Vincent Benoît Camille Peillon (born 7 July 1960 in Suresnes) is a French politician and Member of the European Parliament for the north-west of France. He is a member of the Socialist Party, which is part of the Party of European Socialists, and sits on the European Parliament's Committee on Industry, Research and Energy.

He is also a substitute for the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs.

* Chairman of the National Assembly's inquiry into money laundering (1999-2002)
