Wait Until Dark is a
1967 film which tells the story of a blind woman, Suzy Hendrix, terrorized by two criminals searching for drugs in her apartment. It stars

When the film was initially released, theaters dimmed their lights as low as they could, then turned off one light as each light in the apartment on-screen was shattered, until all of the lights in the theaters were completely dark.
