Wheatfield, Oxfordshire

Wheatfield was a settlement in Southern Oxfordshire, all that remains today is the St. Andrews Church & the old stables. The Rudge family bought the land in 1727 and updated the church but fire destroyed the manor house in 1814, leaving only the stables. These have since been converted into modern houses. The church is still in use, and is used in the summer for services. It has no electricity and is not used in the darker winter months.
