what is Jefferson's Letter to the Danbury Baptist
Hello,
In 1802 President Jefferson wrote a reply letter to members of the Danbury Baptist Association in Connecticut. It is famous because it is the first time the term separation of Church & State is used (although technically Jefferson says "separation between Church & State).
