Question
I am a 16 year old girl who has a baby with a 22 year old guy. He had court problems charge or statuary rape when I was 15 years old. Is it still illegal to have sex with him now that I am 16 living in New Jersey?

This really is not a free speech question and is really not my area of expertise. Even if it was, I can't really provide any specific legal advise in this forum.
That said, my understanding is that the age of consent in NJ is 16, sexual relations should not result in any new charges. However, it may be a condition of your boyfriend's probation or parole that he stay away from you. I would strongly advise this man to consult with his attorney before resuming relations in this situation.
