Question
Hi Mary,
Sorry, my version of Office is 2007, but I hope you can help me with a little query. A couple of years ago, I inadvertently discovered how to put a menu item into a toolbar that isn't normally available. I get sick of going: Arrange ... Align or Distribute. At times you're doing it multiple times and it becomes very tedious. I upgraded my old PC from XP to W7 and, of course, lost that nice little 'Arrange' toolbar which I could drag around the scratchpad and make life easier. I've looked for clues as to how I did it but can't replicate it. Can you tell me how I did it?
Hopefully yours,
Lyn

Answer
Hi Lyn,

I believe that you can find all customizations to the ribbon in the backstage view.

I recommend this link that will guide you on customizations.

Good luck.
