Question I had sex for the first time and I am 20 yr old. I just wanted to know how long I will be bleeding after my first time? I feel like I made a good choice with the guy I am with, but at the same time I feel really guilty, why? I can't stop thinking about what if I get pregnant. I am so worried b/c we didnt use a condom and I am supposed to start my period this coming week. What do I do?

Next time you use a condom or some method of birth control, because now you're biggest worry is not pregnancy it's and STD or HIV. Even if he said he was clean you never know, so next time protect yourself and don't have sex without a condom. You shouldn't feel guilty if you are with the right person, unless your religion forbids it or something like that. The bleeding should last no more than 3-4 days. I think that you worrying about pregnancy and diesease could be manifesting itself into guilt. Just take deep breaths and hope that you start right on time!! Even if you're a little late you may not be pregnant, because after the first time I had sex I was a few days later than normal.,....BUT if you don't start when you're supposed to take a pregnancy test to be sure. Then if in a few days you still dont start, go see a doctor.
