About Dylan Pemberton
Expertise
My area of interest is the holocaust with particular reference to the Auschwitz Birkenau extermination camp. I can answer most questions regarding the lead up to and the ultimate deployment of 'The Final Solution' including the Wannsee Conference, ghetto liquidations, the Nuremberg Trials, post-war 'Nazi Hunting' by the likes of Simon Weisenthal etc. My knowledge / experience is perhaps best suited to someone who - for example - had a homework / coursework assignment in this area as opposed to a professional interest in which case there are, naturally, recognised experts and historians available.

Experience
Lifelong interest in ensuring the events of the holocaust are never forgotten, visits to Auschwitz Birkenau and extensive literature on the subject.

Education/Credentials
10 GCSE's, several A-Levels, BTEC National Diploma Graphic Design, 15 years senior level business experience.

Question
If the americans didnt agree with what the germans were doing, why didnt they stop them?

Answer
....they did; they joined the war and eventually helped the British and other allies liberate Europe from the tyranny of the Nazis.

Of course, that simplified answer is perhaps flippant; there was much appeasement before the war by both America and the UK and perhaps more direct action could have been done earlier (and America did not join the war from the start) but as much as it is galling that not more was done - ultimately; very few could have foretold the sheer scale of the horror that would unfold under the Nazis, I mean who could have accurately predicted that they (the Nazis) would create such a mass mechanism for the murder of the jews, all on such an industrial and rapid scale, it was almost inconceivable to sane, civilised people.
