There are countless military tactics, and each has its own advantages and disadvantages. They rely heavily on terrain and weather.
Personally, though, I believe that aerial superiority is the key to winning wars. They can bomb artillery positions that can threaten the lives of many troops. It can also help in dive bombing an opponent or eliminating tanks....
