About Tom
Expertise
While it is a huge topic, I am well-versed in World War II generally. There is a huge wealth of information available on the internet, HOWEVER, one has to know the trash from the gems. Many sites which are not obviously credible (govt, university, and museum sites, for ex.), provide erroneous information (intentionally or otherwise).

Experience
BA in history, and been reading and studying WW2 as my 'hobby' for 30 years. Regular contributor to several online forums in military history, WW2, and related areas and topics.

Organizations
None relevant to this topic.

Education/Credentials
BA, History (Secondary Education), with minor in Geography
US Army Engineer Officer (Officer Basic and Advanced Courses)

Subject: Re-enactment of Winston Churchill speech

Question
I am dying to find a copy of a TV show I once saw: an actor re-enacts a speech Winston Churchill did in America after his Iron Curtain speech, where he takes questions from the audience and tells stories of his youth, Hal Holbrook style.  Very funny.  It was a special by Masterpiece Theater or PBS or History Channel or such: one show, not a series.  I cannot find it by Googling, because I think it was part of a series of biographies or something, and it is only searchable if you know the title of the series.  A wonderful intro to WSC for high-schoolers!

Answer
Like you, without more to go on, I have come up with zero.  I didn't see the show you saw, though I would also like to do so.  Even imdb.com was no help, and that has been a good source for movie/video searches.

I know it CAN be found by online searching, but haven't had luck in hitting the clue I need.  I'm sorry I couldn't be of any help this time.  I could suggest the obvious, though - that you search for groups or forums that specialize in video entertainment or perhaps even Churchill, and post the question there.  Someone knows!
