AboutTom Expertise While it is a huge topic, I am well-versed in World War II generally. There is a huge wealth of information available on the internet, HOWEVER, one has to know the trash from the gems. Many sites which are not obviously credible (govt, university, and museum sites, for ex.), provide erroneous information (intentionally or otherwise).

Question I have an original newspaper from
New York American dated April 17th 1912 No. 10,500
Do you know how I can see if it is worth anything?
Any help or direction would be appreciated.
Thanks.
Jeni
Answer One of the easiest ways is to go to ebay and search for the same thing - or for a similar thing. They have proven to be a fascinating resource to value almost anything. It may take some effort to find good comparables, but you should be able to get a feel for the value range that way.
Aside from that, I would just suggest you do a goggle search for something like "historic artifact" or "historic newspaper titanic", etc. and find some companies that actually DEAL in selling such things.
Of course a lot of the value depends upon the condition of the paper, so safeguard it!
