I regret to tell you that I am an expert in the 20th century only more specialized in the Nazi era and that I can not answer every single question about history. Furthermore all empires are comparable and I can only advise you to read more about the Mayan empire on Google and you will probably find the differences between let say the Mayan and the Aztec empires.
