Question
i have a compleat set of time life ww 2 books published in 1977 from the begining to the end rushian nazi frinch british american all those involved alot of books and they are in exalent condition i was wondering how mutch they are worth thank you

Answer
The killer about books, esp. broadly published ones like that series, is that they are commodities - that is, they are like corn or gas, in that they can be sold and sent anywhere, which means you compete with anyone else with a set to sell.

that said, I bought my set probably 4 years ago for something like $140 (?) plus shipping ($30-40 book rate?).  So don't expect this to be a gold mine.

But the BEST way to get a value on them that is current is to simply go to ebay or Amazon and look at what the complete set sells for.  Easy way to quickly figure out their value.

For example this guy has 31 books in the series with a buy it now price of $159.99 (mind you, my collection has 38, but yet another seller has 40 volumes listed):

While it is a huge topic, I am well-versed in World War II generally. There is a huge wealth of information available on the internet, HOWEVER, one has to know the trash from the gems. Many sites which are not obviously credible (govt, university, and museum sites, for ex.), provide erroneous information (intentionally or otherwise).
