20th Century History/World War 2 Germany

Question
Just a quick question: If German people during WW2 found
anything suspicious like an unexploded bomb or something
dangerous, would they report to the Gestapo or someone else?
Thanks.

Answer
Hello

No the Gestapo was more concerned with intelligence and security threats. The every day happenings would have been dealt with a local or town police/defence force. Each town would have it's own little force made up of older men or those deemed not fit enough for front line military.

Kind regards
Ben
