2nd Amendment and Right to Bear Arms/Restoration of Gun Ownership

QuestionI was convicted of a felony Domestic violent case and had my gun rights taken away. 17 years later that conviction was reduce and dismissed but it still show on my rap sheet and at the bottom of that rap sheet it shows reduce and dismissed and I made a bunch of copies in case I need it. I never went to prison for it just jail for a county lid in California. When I went to apply for a fire arms permit at the time in Missouri they said it was still showing that is why I came back to Cali to get it off. But when I went to expunge my record on a misdemeanors of Domestic the judge refused it so I went and got and attorney to do it so it should soon be off. The only reason I can figure why that judge didn't give it to me was because he didn't want to restore my gun rights. So my question is do I have a right to posses a firer arm after the misdemeanors gets expunge the felony already has been and reduced also. Or do I need to something further. Thx
AnswerYes, once you have that conviction expunged you will have your firearm rights restored. Try getting a non-resident Virginia or Florida Firearm permit first. You can fax them both your paperwork with an explanation and they will give you a call to let you know if it approves. Virginia is easy and quike download the application at Virginia State Police or Fl. Non-resident Firearm information can be found at Florida Dept. of Agriculture online.
Good Luck....
