2nd Amendment and Right to Bear Arms/CCW & Juvenile Felony

Question
I am asking this because of a response I just read regarding ownership of firearms and Juvenile felonies. Does CCW Laws also not disqualify persons with juvenile felonies from obtaining a CC permit? I live in a county in ohio where  the sheriff does not endorse CCW so is unwilling to answer my questions. Thanks in advance for your time.

DON

Answer
Juvenile offenses do not ban you from firearms under federal laws.  As far as CCW goes each state has it's own reasons for disqualifying individuals.  If you had an Ohio apllication for CCW it should tell you if you are disqualified.  Try for a Virginia non-resident firearm permit I believe it has reciprocity in Ohio.  They will definately give you the CCW as long as you don't have an adult felony or domestic violence conviction.
