Question
Don, I was convicted in 1993 Of 2923.02 Attempt Improper Handling of Firearm. I have a hard time understanding Ohio Law. Will that charge disqualify me from a CHL? I wasn't sure because it was a firearm offense. Thank You for any information.

Answer
Any felony will ban you from firearms until you have full restoration of rights without restrictions.  You have to get that from the State where you was convicted. PA is the only state that I know that will give firearm restoration to an out of state convicted felon if you now live in PA.

Good Luck
