2nd Amendment and Right to Bear Arms/family members living w/me on probation

Question
My son recently received a sentence for DUI and will be getting another in 3 months for another offense(felony). Neither of the charges have him as a threat. He will be receiving probation for both offenses. I have a protection permit and do quite a bit of hunting and shooting as a hobby. Will I be able to keep the firearms in my house. My son is 24years old and cannot move out on his own for at least a year. I live in Pennsylvania.
Thank You
Brian S.

Answer
Brian,

Thanks for contacting me. Federal law states that felons cannot own or possess firearms. If you have a gun safe where they are under your care, then it should not be a problem. However since I am not an attorney, and to be sure, I recommend contacting legal help to ask this question.
