Question
I pled no contest to 3 counts of uttering a forged instrament, I was givin 3 to 5 years on probation, was done in less than a year with all conditions met, its now been 4 years and  on june 14, 2009 it will be five, What I was wondering was two things, first this happend in Vt so i know i have my right to vote, so with that said if the restore my right now that i live in Florida will they have to honor it???

Answer
You have to go to VT and apply for restoration of firearm rights.  Florida can't give you that right back only the state that convicted you can give you the rights to bear arms again.  You must still apply for Fl. Executive Clemency,  just go to the website and download the application ASAP because its a long process with them.
