Question
I have a felony conviction (for drug possession) from 1977 and have restored my right to vote in 1980, but never restored my right to bear arms.
How do i do this?
I have had not legal problems of any kind since 1977.
Can you give me some advise on how to apply for my right to bear arms?
I would appreciate any advise you can provide.

Wow, must've been a lot of drugs for "Felony weight," Don.

Don't know in what State you reside, or even if it's the same State in which you were convicted, but you might try the same process through which your Voting franchise was restored.

The best way… the one no one seems to want to try… is to consult an Attorney in your jurisdiction.
