2nd Amendment and Right to Bear Arms/CCW in Indiana with 15 year old DUI

Question
I applied a few days ago and the folks at the office where I applied were of NO help.  I got a DUI in illinois over 15 years ago and DID put that on my application.  I however cannot find any info on wether that will have any effect on my application or not.  Some say 5 years or later is OK, some say any DUI will deny you regardless in less you have it expunged.

Any help would be nice.  I already applied so I'll find our either way.
It would have been nice if the office staff their would have knwon the answer, therefore possibly saving me the $125.00 it cost if they knew I'd be denied anyway.

Answer
I'm not certain what your question is, James.

I think you might have been better served by researching Indiana's firearms statutes beforehand, or even better, consulting with an attorney knowledgeable in Hoosier gun laws, who would have been able to explain to you what the CCW disqualifications could be.

But 15 years is a long time if you've kept your nose clean and your breathalyzer tests alcohol-free. You may be in luck.

Nor do I do "Private Consultations." Want to made it "private," retain an attorney.
