Question
I am planning on submitting an application for my CCW permit in Cheshire County, New Hampshire. I have heard that any misdemeanor will prevent the state from issuing a CCW permit, is that true? Also, other than felony convictions, what else will commomly disqualify someone from being issued a CCW permit in the state of New Hampshire?

Answer
If you have a domestic violence conviction, an active order of protection, dishonorable discharge from the military.  NH application only ask have you been convicted of a felony that has not been annulled.  Other than that you should receive the permit.

Good Luck
