2nd Amendment and Right to Bear Arms/Concealed Carry

Question
I and my wife travel regularly in our motorhome between FL and NY State (not city).  All of the states I travel through except NY accept the FL CC permit.  I am a FL resident and have a FL resident CC permit but have not carried my handgun because of my understanding of NY State laws pertaining to handguns.  I would like to carry the handgun for personal protection. How can this be done legaly?

Answer
Hello Clint,

Thanks for asking me about this matter. You are correct in that new York does not honor your Florida CC permit. The only way to carry a handgun for protection in New York would probably be open carry. In other words not concealed.
