Question
I was convicted on a 50B mistormeanor 17 years ago, Why can't I get a pistol permit17 years later. What must I do to get restored

Answer
You have to apply and receive full restoraton of rights from the jurisdiction where you was convicted.  Your conviction is either Domestic violence or a firearm related conviction.  I dont know what 50B is.
Misdemeanors are not a reason for firearm restriction according to the Federal Government unless domestic violence is the charge.  Some states restrict individuals for certain misdemeanors and multiple
misdemeanors.
