2nd Amendment and Right to Bear Arms/Federal felony

Question
I was convicted in Dec. 2000 for conspiracy to counterfeit checks with intent to defraud citybank. I received 3 years probation and was released from probation Dec. 2003. I have my voting rights restored and would like my firearm privileges restored. What do I need to do to make that happen?

Answer
Hi Ralph,

Thanks for asking me about this matter. If you have your voting rights restored, then I would assume that you would be able to get your firearms rights restored. Have you looked into obtaining a full pardon from the Governor of your state, and the President of the US?

I would recommend seeking the best options through your legal representative.

I hope this works out for you, and if you have further questions please contact me again.
