In 1984 when I was twenty four I plead guilty to a grand larceny 2 in N.Y.C. I did not do any time and was never on probation I just had to pay $2000. restitution and never was in trouble with the law again. I am now forty eight and have been living in PA since 1993.I vote and hold a C.D.L. license to carry hazmat and transportation security administration determined no security threat. I never applied for a carry premit.Do you think I can get a carry primit and how should I go about it. Thanking you in advance. Joseph M Percoco

Get an attorney.

You have a Felony conviction. so you are a prohibited person whether you did time or not. That may be all right with TSA, but New York State Pistol Licensing Division won't care unless you have a Certificate of Relief from Disabilities.

Get an attorney to explore your options with respect to the specifics of your situation.
