i live in NY upstate and wanted to know can i own guns living with a convicted felon. they were taking away from by the cops over a domestic thing and i wanted to know can i get in trouble for owning them. they were locked up in the safe and he had no access to them. can i own them living with him

Thanks for asking me about this matter. As long as you are not a felon too and he has no access to the guns, you cannot get into trouble. Just be sure that he does not have the key or combination to the gunsafe.
