Question
I have a Colt New Service revolver that I need to ship from Calif to Arkansas ,The gun is on the Curios & Relics list.

The person that the gun is being shipped to has a Curios & Relics FFL. Can I ship this gun directly to him or do I have to use a Calif FFL Dealer to ship the gun. I have talke to several gun dealers & have got conflicting answers. I have spoken to a Calif. DOJ rep. & she told me to call ATF ,I called ATF & they told me to call the local ATF detectives , When I called the detectives I got a voice mail & I'm waitng for a reply.

Answer
Dear Charles,

Thanks for asking me about this matter. If your gun is on the C&R list, you can ship it to a C&R FFL. There is no reason you have to send it to a regular California FFL dealer.

Just be certain that the exact make, model, and/or serial number are on the C&R list.

If I can be of any further assistance please contact me again.
