2nd Amendment and Right to Bear Arms/antique gun sale on eBay

Question
Hi.  A friend has an old French rifle that he acquired from gun smith in Mali, West Africa about 20 years ago.  The gun smith claims the rifle is from the late 1700's to early 1800's.  Will I run into any issues if I list this for sale on eBay?

Answer
Chad,

Thanks for asking. I do not think that Ebay allows any firearms to be sold, antique or not.  A good way to tell is to try to find some on the Ebay site.

You would be better off listing it for sale on www.gunbroker.com or www.gunsamerica.com.

Good luck.
