Question
I have three felonies on my juvenile record from when I was 15. I am now 23 and am seeking my CCW, I have a purchasing permit but was wondering if my juvenile records would stop me? I have a disturbing the peace-being loud after hours on my adult record. On the app. for the CCW it asks have you ever been convicted of a felony in any state, should I say yes based on juvenile records, or no based on adult records? When I do a search on myself in Michigan my juvenile records don't show, but can be accessed at the records dept of the court house. please help! thank-you

Answer
Juvenile records are sealed so you can put no and apply for your CCW.  If you have a purchase permit then you should be able to get a CCW.  You must be clean to get either one.  If for some reason they deny you just apply for restoration of rights for your Juvenile record and you should be good.
