Hello from Maine. My question is this: if you have two misdemeanor drug offenses in Maine, does this disqualify you from obtaining a CCW permit in said state? Thanks for your time.

I've read and re-read your inquiry three times, and I'll be darned if I can find the Second Amendment aspect of it.

As you know, this IS a Second Amendment topic, not a Criminal Justice topic, so I'm curious as to why people constantly confuse the two.

I think the best thing for you to do is contact the Maine State Police and ask your question there.
