Question
im an now 34 when i was 21 i was convivted of carrying a concealed deadly weapon . after that i had the conviction knocked down to probation before judgement . then expunged a few years later. am i now allowed to by a firearm in maryland where all of this took place .

Answer
According to federal firearm codes you are allowed to purchase firearms.  However, Maryland has very strict firearm laws. They may want you to receive a permit before you can purchase a firearm in that state.  If for some reason you fail the NICS check appeal it and prove you had your conviction was expunged.
