Question
If i pleaded guilty to a non violent felony could i get my FOID card back....they gave me a 12 month discharge witch means i cant get in trouble for 1yr and they will drop it to a misdemeanor. Now that i dont have a felony and i now have a misdemeanor could i get it back.
This is a Second Amendment topic and you're asking a Criminal Justice question. Why is that?
You were convicted of a felony, violent, non-violent -- doesn't matter. That makes you a prohibited person.
Consult further with your probation officer or attorney.
In the mean time, consider finishing school.
