Question
My nephew did something stupid and has to pay for it.  We pretty much have to allow him to do his house arrest at my place because my sister runs a business out of her home that requires a state license AND forbids felons in or near the house.  It is her family's livelihood.  My question is, how does this affect my right to have weapons and ammunition in the house?  I am in Riverside County, California.

Answer
This is a Criminal Justice issue! How did you imagine that it was a Second Amendment one?

You nephew must have some state or country oversight (i.e., supervising entity) for his house arrest. You should inquire of that agency, and make disclosure of the presence of your firearms.

I would have thought that this would have been discussed at the time the arrangements were being made.

Nor do I do "Private Consultations." Want to made it "private," retain an attorney.
