Went to buy my first rifle at 23 and got a delay on my transaction through nics. I have a juvi record with misdemeanor terriost threats and battery. I was later arested for getting into a fight with my dad. Not sure what i was charged with though. I am now 23 have a perfectly clean adult record. I was wondering if there is anything in my juvi record that tehy can use to deny me.
I'm not sure how you decided that this was a Second Amendment question instead of the Criminal Justice one it clearly is.
Nor do I accept that your are "not sure what (you were) charged with though" after the "fight with (your) dad."
"Terriost{sic} threats," "battery" (violence) and "a fight" (more violence) would definitely be prohibiting factors in respect to purchasing a firearm.
So, yes, those charges, even as committed a juvenile, could, and absolutely should, be used to deny your purchase.
Glad that you have a clean record as an adult, but you need to consult with an attorney and learn what your options are.
