Question
I was convicted of non-violent felonies in WI when i was 18 and did 3 1/2 years out of five in the WI DOC. I am now 30 and would like to be able to bird hunt with friends and family. is there any way to restore my rights, get a pardon,or get my record expunged so i can hunt again. If so. what action do I need to take or what kind of legal service should i obtain (criminal or otherwise). Thank you...

Answer
Josh,

Thanks for asking. In order to restore your rights get a legal service that can expunge or pardon your record.
I would look for one that specializes in the restoration of civil rights.I am glad to see you are going straight now. Best wishes,

Dan
