Question
hi there hope you can help, i live Boston MASS.
i was arrested and charge assult and battery domestic, went to court out come i got 6 moths probation with out finding case dismissed. never was convicted never been. can i still get n LTC gun or fid

Answer
Eddie,

Thanks for asking. Assault & battery are considered violent crimes and would prevent you from obtaining a gun or FID. I suggest you contact the attorney who represented you to see if the case was dismissed. If you served six months probation you must have been convicted.

Best wishes,

Dan
