Question
Hello Dan, I am 25 have a very clean record, no criminal charges or misdemeanors what so ever. In 2008 February My ex girlfriend filed a protection order (not a restraining order) against me. She had made false accusations and requested my ccw be taken away in her statements. Bout a week later the served me and my CCW was revoked. Bout 2 months later she finally went in and took off the protection order against me. I never went back to reinstate my license because 2 months later i moved to california. I just recently came back and wanted to reinstate my license. The ppo was for a year but she took it off like i said earlier. Will they reinstate it? or do i have to start over? What is the process? Thanx Dan.

Answer
Ahmed,

Thanks for asking. In my opinion if your girlfriend took off the protection order, you should be all right to re apply for your CCW. My guess is that they will reinstate it if you apply. If you have any problems I recommend legal help.

Best regards,

Dan
