2nd Amendment and Right to Bear Arms/Being an asshole
Expert: Dean Speir - 11/10/2009
QuestionI came to this site thinking I might find an answer to the same type of question that many here appear to have - restoring the right to own/possess a firearm. I found this site after searching clemency, expungement, second amendment rights topics for MN but found little to answer my questions.
While I have read your "expertise" description & understand that you are no actual expert on anything pertinent to the topic of firearms vs. criminal activity I have come to these 3 conclusions:
1.) People who come here don't appear to read much farther than the topic that brought us all here, which is in fact "2nd Amendment Right to Bear Arms" and also appear to click on the first available link, which sadly happens to be you.
2) You are a rude, arrogant opinionated asshole (ex: "but you lost that right to keep and bear arms when you became a convicted felon. And that's how it should be.") My understanding of how a help site operates is not to inject unwanted opinion into the actual help, as for instance your response which is negative and not at all helpful. Here's a thought - people make mistakes, get over it. Shall we have everyone castrated who cheat on their wives, never allow someone convicted of theft to work for fear they might steal from their employer? I could go on but you get the point. Crimes were committed, dues were paid. Time to move on. Especially after some of us have 20 years of productive and law abiding behavior.
3.) The rating system on this site is either "fixed" or unfortunately those people you rag on haven't taken the time to vote. I read the first 10 Q & A's and ....Surprise!... you're an unhelpful, rude, arrogant and pretty much completely useless asshole in 10 of the 10.
So, having said that here's my question: If you are not a lawyer, have no clue about what is relevant to one another regarding 2nd amendment vs criminal convictions and reinstatement of rights, why do you even answer those questions to which you are so obviously not an expert? Now that is my question though I really already know the answer. Given your "expertise" there really isn't any demand so you go ahead and rip on the same question from different people over and over and over.
How about we take away your right to bear arms based soley on these responses here and the possibility that your anger issues may end in a shooting spree?
Here's a thought... take that right of yours to bear arms, bear that arm with the barrel tickling your tonsils, and embrace that right with one quick jerk of the finger. Sir, you are one serious waste of space. BTW that was 3 questions, sorry.
AnswerSo, after all that "searching clemency, expungement, second amendment rights topics," etc., you didn't bother to read anything when you got here, just fired away with your question.
Is that what you do when you have a heart attack, Joseph? Go to a dentist?
You're angry, and given the ass you made of yourself, that's understandable. You definitely shouldn't have access to firearms if that's the limit of your sense of responsibility, and your very limited reading skills.
BTW: if seems, given your language and invective, that you are the one with the "anger issues," #1, and #2, you got the best answer available to you -- see an attorney. If you cannot control yourself any better than this, you're going to need one any day now.
