Hi I'm 21 years old i was convicted of a class D felony for weed back when i was 18. i live in Indiana i was just wondering is it possible for me to get a permit to carry? i was also told by someone i could carry a muzzle loader hand gun with out a permit and have a felony is this true?
"Back" when you were 18? Really, Skyler? That long ago?
That was just three years ago, and it may seem like a long time to you at 21, but it's not in real time to anyone over the age of 30!
And as a convicted felon, you are a prohibited person in the eyes of the law, and prohibited persons are not eligible to possess firearms.
How since this is a Second Amendment topic and yours is a Criminal Justice question, get outta here and go see a Criminal Attorney in Indiana, pay his or her fee, and be guided by their counsel.

My email was mis read or something, because i didnt make a statement of time and that seemed to be the main focus of the response i got back. i knew the laws that was told me to but there also some other laws that kind of contradict the obvious. | ||
