2nd Amendment and Right to Bear Arms/Firearms license in PA

Question
I have been put on "Delay" for approval of buying a hunting rifle in PA. I have a failure to appear conviction for a traffic ticket in 1988 in TX. Would this prevent me from purchasing the rifle? Thanks in advance.

Answer
Dave,

If you have been put on delay, yes it is preventing you from getting a rifle. Ususally on this type of conviction, there is a warrant issued for your arrest.

I recommend that you take care of your ticket, and then try to buy your rifle again.
