2nd Amendment and Right to Bear Arms/Will I be denied for a rifle purchase?

Question
I live in Texas & I want to buy my husband a rifle for Christmas, but I have a warrant for an unpaid traffic ticket and a failure to appear that I completely forgot about and I can't afford to pay them right now. When I go to buy the gun, will they deny me due to these warrants? I appreciate you taking the time to read this,& I thank you in advance for answering my question. Have a great day.

Hi April,
Thanks for asking, there is a good chance that when you get the background check the outstanding warrant may come up and you will be denied. I would recommend taking care of the warrant to alleviate any purchase problems.
