2nd Amendment and Right to Bear Arms/felons, non felons, and gun ownership

Question
I am reading in your answers two conflicting answers. 1. dated 6/7/2009 stating that the non-felon cannot own a gun while the felon is living there. 2. dated 7/3/2009 stating that it is okay to own a fire-arm as long as the felon does not have access to it. What is correct? This is for the state of PA.

Answer
A convicted felon may not possess a firearm. If one party is clean and wants to have a gun then he/she must keep the felon from accessing the firearm. If the felon does get a hold of the gun, then Federal felony weapon possession laws apply. This has nothing to do with state laws.
