Question
I was convicted 14 yrs ago for felony drunk driving. I haven't had a problem since. presently decided I'd like to go bird hunting or deer hunting. Can I own a shotgun or black powder rifle in Indiana, also is there any federal laws that supercede.

Answer
No, you can't own any firearms long guns or handguns until you get full restoration of rights.  Some states allow a convicted felon to have a long gun on his/her property but that's it.  This is a federal law for convicted felons who do not have full restoration of rights.
