Dean: Not for nothing, but why don't you get off this forum as an expert? You continually slam people because their questions at times do not relate directly to the 2nd amendment. Most people are indicating that they have a record and want to know if they can now carry a gun or what the steps would be. Technically it still is a 2nd amendment question pertaining to their "rights". Why don't you just let the other experts answer the questions because they seem to be a little more forgiving to the people you feel are not educated.

You're suggesting that I get off the Second Amendment topic because I signed up to answer Second Amendment questions and not the barely articulate Criminal Justice questions which semi-literate visitors seem determined to throw at me?!?

First off, I didn't set this Forum/Topic up. It was established for Second Amendment questions, that's what I signed on to help with, and if you check back to the beginning, you'll see that's what I've done over the past eight years.

And no, "technically" these are NOT still Second Amendment questions; they are, as I have clearly stated, Criminal Justice questions better directed to an attorney in their specific jurisdiction.

And obviously… given the problem you had several weeks back with directing your remarks to the right "Expert" here… you're unfamiliar with how the system at AllExperts works… just as you directed your "question" to me, so too do others. The questions don't go into a pool where Robert, Dan, Don and I decide which ones we're going to "take" as our own.

And another thing you need to think about: you think I should be "a little more forgiving" with those who've had problems with the law and want to have or carry a gun?!?

Son, you need to think about that one a little more before NONE of us will be allowed to have a firearm!
